Our mobile trading platform gives you access to information on the go. Specially designed to be easy to access, easy to browse, and easy to use, you'll have access to the essential features you need to make informed investment decisions - but mobile sized.

Pages have been carefully designed for optimum use on your mobile. And we've left out some of the less time-sensitive details so that the ones you really need are always close to hand.

What's available?

Trading - buy and sell equities, ETFs, ETCS and covered warrants: all for immediate dealing with a live price quote. You'll get confirmation of your last-completed trade as soon as you sign-in, so in the event you lose your signal, you can check to see whether or not your trade was completed. Plus, where you have available cash in your account, set up limit orders too.

Market summary - information and charts for FTSE100 stocks and UK indices. FTSE100 top five risers and fallers, plus the days' latest news stories.

Market data - latest prices ('15 min delayed'), trading volumes and more for shares, indices; UK Gilts and the top 20 Covered Warrant risers and fallers, plus selected exchange rates and New Issues.

News - from stock-specific and RNS news to market updates, economic and political news.

My account - full details of all your Selftrade accounts, plus the ability to trade equities and covered warrants directly from your mobile.

Watchlists - check out a summary of the latest data relating to stocks in your watchlist. Full watchlist functionality is accessible via our main website.

What does it cost?

There are no additional account or trading fees for using the mobile trading service: all dealing fees, and any account fees where applicable, are exactly the same as for using your account online, by telephone or post. See the price list for full details.
However, your operator's charges for using the internet on your phone will apply. Costs vary from operator to operator: ask them for details.

What phone can I use?

To access our mobile trading site, http://m.selftrade.co.uk, you simply need to have an Internet-enabled phone.
If you're not sure whether your phone is suitable, ask your mobile provider or visit the manufacturer's website.
Of course, how our site looks and works on your phone will depend on as number of factors: mobile phones and PDAs can differ from one another quite dramatically, and your user experience will reflect this.

  • Some of the main differences will relate to:Your screen size (small vs. large)
  • Your screen layout (portrait vs. landscape, or both)
  • The method of entering details (e.g. stylus, numeric keypad, dial-wheel, QWERTY keypad)
